Ingredients

  • 200 gPlain nonfat Greek yogurt
  • 60 ml1% milk
  • 10 gChia seeds
  • 80 gPeach, stone removeddiced
  • 1 gVanilla extract

Steps

  1. Combine

Stir the yogurt, milk, chia and vanilla together in a covered container until the seeds are evenly dispersed.

  2. Chill and stir again

Refrigerate for 10 minutes, stir once more to break up clumps, then chill for at least another 2 hours until the seeds have softened.

  3. Top with peach

Wash and dice the peach, discarding the stone. Spoon it over the chilled yogurt just before serving.

For a smaller portion

Try half the pot first. If seeds do not suit you, leave out the chia and use less milk for a thicker yogurt bowl; that version has less fiber.

Notes

  • Refrigerate in a covered container at 40°F / 4°C or below. Use within 3 days.
  • Frozen peach works if thawed in the fridge and drained. The total time includes chilling.
